I like this book because it has all my favorite thing like being childish.

I read this book as a request and I am glad I did. It was my first encounter with Judy Moody and now I know how she got her name. The book is charming- it lets the reader feel the emotions of a young girl that has some trouble behaving. She seems to always be in trouble in some way. She shares her feelings of jealousy and wanting to be famous too as she asks several classmates and family, "Have you been famous?" She attempts to be famous and ends up being famous for something nice she does even
I really like the Judy Moody character. She might get into trouble, but it's often times just by accident. Judy is a creative outgoing young girl who has many more positive attributes than Junie B. Jones. As a mother, I would prefer my daughter reading about a young girl who acts altruistically like Judy instead of reading about a bratty girl like Junie B. Jones.
