The conclusion of a well done ménage IMO. Of course I loved it!!!!! Each story has me thinkin it can't be beat lol. Very vivid writing that comes w/all kinds of emotions. I do have my favs and Gideon's story is one of them:))I did found this conclusion to Gideon's story to be a fulfilling one, to be sure. As started in Vampire Mistress, Gideon, former vampire hunter and now third-marked servant, works with Daegan Rei, vamp and Council assassin, to ease Anwyn's transition into the vampire world. As a newly turned vamp by another vamp of "poor stock" (lol), she suffers from seizures that are difficult to control and put her in jeopardy when she must come before the Council to be validated as a "made" vampire. Continuing their story as Anwyn must learn to control her demons with Gideon and Daegan's help and go to the Vampire Council to be validated. These three have a lot to learn and overcome. Excellent reading, didn't want to put it down, even though I've read it before. Joey really touches the mind behind D/s relationships
AmazingThis is a amazing story. Joey's vampire world is one that can't be matched. She takes you to places beyond your imagination. Lord Daegon, Lady Anwyn and Gideon are my favorite characters. This is one true love story . But read Vampire Mistress first. Daegon is one very scary but very protective vampire with in image power. Anwyn is a Mistress and owner of Club Atlantis. Gideon is a vampire Hunter. What a combination? Vampire lovers needs to read this story.
If I liked femdom then I might have loved this book. I was hoping that there would he more Daegan and Gideon action, given the name of the book.I threw in the towel when i had to skim too much to make it worth going on. Male slaves are apparently not my thing. Back to doms and signing off this series.
I've been a fan of the Vampire Queen world from Joey W. Hill now for some time so when I found this book, I had to get it. Unfortunately within the first few pages I was turned off. My strong female vampires with strong male servants seemed to have weakened with a mental health issue (several actually) and the addition of a male vampire. I kept reading.Hill still does a good job of balancing the sex with the darkness inherit in being a vampire. The additional man, Daegan, is a positive male
