Good freaking night! This poor kid gets really put throught the ringer in the worst ways. Someone please give him a break. I'm not sure how much more his momma can take, honestly that poor woman. Of course everyone is still kind of after Nick, but in this book the story turns off a bit to a side character who out of jealousy summons a demon who causes chaos throughout the city. Nick and Kodi get closer and closer together. Nick takes a beating again and again and most of the scenes seem to occurWantwantwantwantwantwantwantwaaaannnnntttttt!!!! D:EDIT: So. I finished it. WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Another awesome book by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I have been waiting for this one since Invincible and it was so worth it. Nick continues to grow but never losing his hilarious cajun roots. I was literally laughing out loud on serveral occasions, which was not good because I was at working listening to the audiobook. Are you trying to get me fired Ms. Kenyon?
