Appraise Appertaining To Books Darkness Everlasting (Guardians of Eternity #3)
Styx didn't quite get off of my sh*t list from the last book, but by the second chapter of this one, I loved him. And I love how Alexandra Ivy keeps her other characters in the current book-I'd hate to lose sight of Dante, Abby, Viper and Shay. And Levet, the 3 foot gargoyle :) Styx kidnaps Darcy to use as a bargaining chip against the werewolves who are leaving their hunting grounds as a bid for power.Darcy is important to Salvatore, the new were king, but no one, least of all Darcy, knows why.

Great book! I am really liking this series. It's one that I just picked up out of curiousity and it has turned out to be a good one. This particular book is in the running as favorite of the three I've read so far. I love Styx and the introduction of the werewolves added something new to this world of the Guardians of Eternity and I hope we get to see how Salvatore saves his pack. Even though he was the "bad guy" in this book, I have a feeling there is something more to him, something honorable

Another Great installment in this series. Styx the mysterious, sexy, misunderstood Annaso of the Vamps is utterly charming. Especially in his naive belief that no one especially a woman, can best him where it counts the most, HIS Heart. Awesome story. Great action. Styx is everything an Alpha male needs to be, but is just as strong in the love and loyalty he displays to those who are dear to him. He truly has the heart of a king, and this makes him being a pain in the a**, easier to overlook.

If I had read this this series (and Dark Carpathians by Christine Feehan) when I was knew to this PNR/UF genre, I may have enjoyed them more. But after reading Ward, Larissa Ione, Adrian, Ilona Andrews and other similar heavy hitters, I fail to see the strong appeal of this series. It's pretty light and simple. In this novel, the Annaso (Vampire King) Styxx is being challenged by the werewolves, who have left their authorized hunting ground and encroached on other territories. In an attempt to

2.5 starsI seriously can't understand why everybody seems to love this series... First of all I just can't really enjoy a series without a meaningful and well-elaborated plot. To understand and comprehend things is vital when reading paranormal romance. When I'm starting a new paranormal romance book, I like to read details about the world where the story develops (about its different species and customs). Depleted of that, without an original and mind-blowing plot, I just find series lacking of

I did not like the heroine, Darcy, at all. I felt that she was so accepting of the vampires but shunned her own people, the weres. It made her come across as very prejudice, judgemental, and close minded. I like my heroines to be someone I would want to be friends with or at least in some way redeem themselves at the end of the story and this character did none of those things. This was not one of my favorite Ivy books.

I liked this as much as the 2nd book and more than the first, maybe more than the 2nd. In this one they bring the wolves in the picture. The wolves are a dying breed and have there grievances. The vampires control them but they've decided that they must push back or die out. Styxx, who is the head of the vampires, the Anasso, decides to force the King of the werewolves to talk to him, and try to control him, by taking a human that Styxx knows Salvatore has been searching for. But of course soon
